*Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando sponsored this stay at their Aventura Hotel and Universal Orlando theme parks. They did not ask for this blog post, I just truly enjoyed my time there and wanted to share more about our time and more photos. Also, shout out to my best friend for taking all of these photos for me! She did an amazing job capturing these moments for me to edit and share.
It was a dream to be invited for a weekend stay at Universal’s Aventura Hotel by Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando and to be able to take my best friend Colette along with me. Throughout our college years at UCF we watched as Universal Orlando grew. First, with the opening of Hogsmeade and Hogwarts in The Wizarding World of Harry Potter my freshman year followed by the announcement and opening of Diagon Alley my senior year. It is amazing how Universal Orlando has brought the Wizarding World to life inside of these two parks so when they started construction on their new budget-friendly hotels we were intrigued to see where their creativity has taken them for hotel experiences.
Aventura Hotel blew my expectations out of the water. After driving by this hotel countless times while visiting Orlando I’ve always known that I thought this was one of the prettiest hotels because of their blue tinted windows that cover the entire Aventura Hotel. So of course, I fell in love with the floor to ceiling room views and their rooftop bar views over the Orlando city skyline and Universal Orlando parks. Our first evening there we went to watch the sunset from Bar 17 Bistro where you can enjoy comfortable seating, delicious drinks and food with a 360 view of Orlando around you. One evening we even caught the end of another park’s firework show! What’s also nice is you don’t have to be a guest to enjoy Aventura Hotel’s rooftop bar and Aventura Hotel will give you complimentary parking if you spend a minimum of $25 at Bar 17 Bistro during your visit.
The view from our room was amazing! With floor to ceiling windows that overlooked the Volcano Bay Water Park, I was always trying to capture our view. Besides that, one of the coolest features of our room was the fact that you can control almost everything with the provided Ipad. From the lights, tv, temperature, park hours, and room service are all accessible through the in-room Ipad. Colette and I 100% ordered pizza and a 6 pack of beer to have over the course of the weekend.
Another feature Colette and I took advantage of was the on-site Starbucks coffee. Who wouldn’t love taking the elevator downstairs, picking up your coffee and then walking right back to bed or straight out on your way to the parks? Every morning we either got coffee to take backup while we got ready or on our way out the door. The bus stop is literally just to the right when you walk out the front doors and Volcano Bay is maybe a 10 min walk to the left.
Thank you Loews Hotels at Universal Orlando and Universal Orlando for the amazing stay at your Aventura Hotel and Parks. We had a magical time and can’t wait for our next adventure day at your parks.
