Life Is Peachy

I was lucky enough to get the maiden Peachy Box at the beginning of June and found my favorite new lipstick in it. Everything in my box was peachy themed. I received peach scented hand cream that came in a container that looks like a peach, two cards that I mailed off to friends the next day that I decorated with cute panda stickers they sent me, and adorable peach pin, and my new favorite lipstick was also peach scented! There was a great variety of items in my box and I loved that I wasn’t just receiving beauty products even though those were my favorite items.

Like I said, the lipstick was my favorite item and it’s because this thing is magic! The Glamfox Fleurissant Lip Glow is a jelly lipstick with gold flakes, flower essence and a real dried flower inside! If you know me you know I freaked out as soon as I read there was a flower inside of my lipstick but I could decide what was cooler… the fact that my lipstick had gold flakes and a real flower or that the color adjusts to the ph of your lips! F**king science man!

Peachy Box also included three face masks for me to try. I got two from Puresmile and one from Holika Holika. Now I am more of fresh face mask from Lush or one that I’ve made at home, but I was pleasantly surprised with how nice these masks were! I tried Pig Nose Pore Strip from Holika first and it was a three step process. The first nose mask was like those paper masks that is wet and you press it down to your skin. This first strip smelled refreshing and opened up my pores to prepare the skin for the second strip which removes the blackheads from my nose. The second strip was not wet like the first one and stuck to my skin more. It pulled out more blackheads than I thought I had! The last strip provided in the Holika packet was jelly like and helped minimize the appearance of my pores.

The first Puresmile mask I tried was the Essence Face Mask which left my skin feeling nice and hydrated, and the second mask was the Choosy Lip Mask. The lip mask was definitely interesting for me but my lips have been pretty dry and chapped lately and this lip mask was much needed. My lips were left hydrated and extra soft after using the kissy lip shaped mask.
