One thing I look forward to every week is my Sunday night bath. This has become a ritual for me where I dedicate 1-2 hours of my evening to pamper myself before the start of a new workweek. Now more than ever I have appreciated this time I give to myself to unwind and feel like I’m starting off the next week on a fresh foot.
My bath time necessities include a good shampoo & conditioner like Pantene’s Nutrient Blends Collection, a face mask, a bath fizz, of course, a good book, a few candles and other things that just make space feel like an at-home spa. I like to gather all my supplies before I start to fill the tub so that way as soon as the water starts so does my “do not disturb” timer.
While the tub is filling up I like to set up my bath caddy with a glass of water (or wine depending on the day) and everything else I’m going to need so I don’t have to leave the tub. Once my caddy is set up I take time to dry brush my entire body. I love taking time to do this because dry brushing is great for your skin & helps with blood circulation too!
After I’m done dry brushing it’s bath time! I prefer to wash my hair before adding anything to the water since most bath fizzes have ingredients that can make my hair very oily the next day. Lately, I’ve been loving Pantene’s Fortifying Damage Repair Shampoo and Conditioner. This Nutrient Blends line is sulfate, paraben, and dye-free with a blend of pro-vitamin B5, antioxidants and castor oil which strengthens and protects my hair. My hair has been loving this collection since I did some pretty decent damage while coloring my hair a lighter shade of blonde.
Once my hair is washed I put on a face mask, drop in my bath fizzy & relax the rest of the evening while my hair air dries.
On those on-wash days, when I don’t have the time to sit back and relax, I like to use the Dry Conditioner Mist from Pantene’s Waterless Collection. This is a leave-in conditioning spray free of parabens and sulfates but includes with Pro-Vitamin B5, Omega-9, aloe, and jojoba oil.
